Nobody is going to be happy after hearing this news, for sure. The Spanish gay rom-com’s creator, «Smiley», has stated that there won’t be a second season.

The Netflix original series followed the romance between accidental acquaintances Alex (Carlos Cuevas) and Bruno (Miki Esparbê) as they discover their affections for one another.

Sadly, «Smiley» is the most recent in a depressingly lengthy list of LGBTQ series that have been discontinued, attitude.co.uk reports.
