A drama-comedy about 28-year-old Hanna who, after breaking up with her boyfriend, returns to her hometown Alingsås for a temporary job on the local news.

When her beloved father Lasse, the priest with the big beard, reveals that he really wants to be Marianne, Hanna’s world is turned upside down.

But for father Marianne there is no turning back, she must finally be allowed to be who she is deep down. It will be a dizzying journey for Hanna, who didn’t know herself or her father as well as she thought. The film is based on an autobiographical book by Ester Roxberg.
